১.পৃথিবীর সবচেয়ে দামী ব্রান্ডের গাড়িটি আমার গ্যারাজে পড়ে আছে। কিন্তু আমাকে বসে থাকতে হয় হুইল চেয়ারে।
২.সব রকমের ডিজাইনের কাপড়, জুতো, দামি জিনিসে আমার গৃহ ভরপুর। কিন্তু আমার শরীর ঢাকা থাকে হাসপাতালের দেয়া সামান্য একটা চাদরে।
৩.ব্যাংক ভর্তি আমার টাকা। কিন্তু সেই টাকা এখন আর আমার কোনো কাজে লাগে না।
৪.প্রাসাদের মতো আমার গৃহ কিন্তু আমি শুয়ে আছি হাসপাতালের টুইন সাইজের একটা বিছানায়।
৫.এক ফাইভ স্টার হোটেল থেকে আরেক ফাইভ স্টার হোটলে আমি ঘুরে বেড়াতাম। কিন্তু এখন আমার সময় কাটে হাসপাতালের এক পরীক্ষাগার থেকে আরেক পরীক্ষাগারে।
৬.শত শত মানুষকে আমি অটোগ্রাফ দিয়েছি- আর আজ ডাক্তারের লেখা প্রেসক্রিপশানটাই আমার অটোগ্রাফ।
৭.আমার চুলের সাজের জন্য সাতজন বিউটিশিয়ান ছিলো-আজ আমার মাথায় কোনো চুলই নেই।
৮.ব্যক্তিগত জেটে আমি যেখানে খুশী, সেখানেই উড়ে যেতে পারতাম। কিন্তু হাসপাতালের বারান্দায় যেতেও এখন আমার দুজন মানুষের সাহায্য নিতে হয়।
৯.পৃথিবীব্যাপী ভরপুর নানা খাবার থাকলেও দিনে দুটো পিল আর রাতে কয়েক ফোঁটা স্যালাইন আমার খাবার।
এই এতো ব্যাংক একাউন্ট, এতো সুনাম আর এতো খ্যাতি,চুলের ডিজাইন রুপের বাহার এগুলোর কোনো কিছুই আমার আর কোনো কাজে আসছে না। এগুলোর কোনো কিছুই আমাকে একটু আরাম দিতে পারছে না।
শুধু দিতে পারছে- প্রিয় কিছু মানুষের মুখ, আর তাদের স্পর্শ।” মৃত্যুর চেয়ে চরম সত্যি আর কিছু নেই।।
